Interview With Toxic Anger Syndrome

13. MARCH 2010

Toxic Anger Syndrome - No World Order EP Toxic Anger Syndrome - No World Order EP the No World Order EP by Toxic Anger Syndrome was released now on 9th circle records as !! FREE DOWNLOAD RELEASE !! and so we decided to make especially for you, listeners, an interview with Toxic Anger Syndrome about this EP, his Projects and Future Plans.

the interview was done by hugo veloso (Silent Enemy) on March 12th, 2010.

Hugo: Why the name TAS (Toxic Anger Syndrome)?

TAS: I watched the movie "Anger Management" and heard them say it and thought it sounded ok to use as a name... I was trying to find a good name for weeks, but didn't come up with anything good. so I just picked one without so much thought behind it.

Hugo: How long are you working with the dark psychedelic style?

TAS: First time I tried to make music with "Reason" (the software I use to make music with). it was in the winter of 2004/2005. but I don't know what kind of style it was or what kinda style I have now... I usually call it experimental instead of dark..

Toxic Anger Syndrome Hugo: Why do you Called your EP "No world order"? Is There A Story Behind?

TAS: Hmm... it's just the name, I used since one of the tracks was named like that.

Hugo: What music do you like to have worked on your EP? What was your inspiration and how about your influences?

TAS: I get inspirations from everything, I guess... I love music, so can't name anyone that have inspired me more then another since there is so many, everything from classic music to death metal...

The influences to the EP is from some documentaries, that I watched during that period I made the tracks. some of the samples I have used in the tracks are from them...

Hugo: How was your work on top of that EP? What you highlight it? What is your expectation?

TAS: I only like progress to make the tracks and dislike the work that is around to get a track released... it's much more fun to just make "music", then to deal with the other things. Hmm... I don't have any expectations... just hoping that some people will like it out there.

Hugo: What Do you think about it, to work together with 9th circle records?

TAS: It feels good to be able to release some tracks on a label on the other side of the planet. I like that the internet exists, wich make it possible for you to talk and make contact to people all across the world.

Hugo: And What are your future plans for the TAS-Project.

TAS: The only plans I have now, is to release my 8 tracks digital album on D-A-R-K Records... it's a collection of "old" tracks, that I have done during the years and it will be called "Once Upon A Time". I don't know what will happen after that... Guess time will tell...

Hugo: Do You have any side projects?

TAS: Well... I got tired of listening and making fast psytrance, so I decieded to start on a new project.. wich I named "Cut the Cheese". those tracks are a little slower, under 145 BPM, and have a little more melodies 'n shit in them. I personally like that style more and that's why I haven't made so many tracks with the "TAS-Project" for a couple of years.

Hugo: Leave a message for your fans, Listeners.

TAS: Thanks for listening to my "music" and taking your time to read this!
